What are the responsibilities of a panel chair?

The chair is responsible for introducing each of the paper presenters, monitoring the time of their presentations, and insuring that the panel ends promptly at the scheduled time. The Chair is requested to facilitate the discussion session, and to open the floor to questions for the panelists. Sessions have a maximal duration of 2 hours. Consequently, each presenter is expected to give a 15-20 minutes presentation depending on how many papers there are within a panel, panel structure, etc.
